    Tia is a Slade MFA painting graduate, currently based in Southend-on-Sea. Utilising paint to communicate her feelings about life and loss through the lens of grief and a desire to preserve. Her work currently attempts to capture the joy, abundance and wonderment of life, while still acknowledging the existence of loss and the inevitability of death.

    Working mainly in the mediums of collage and paint, Olivia presents work through an autobiographical perspective evoking an emotive response.

    Interested in the transient and fragile nature of plants and how it correlates with humanity. Olivia is currently experimenting with photographic techniques to explore these themes.

    Interdisciplinary artist

    Part of the current cohort for The Other MA (TOMA), Fern works across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, video, textiles and performance. Collaboration and audience participation is an important element to her work, providing more opportunities for dialogue.

    Currently exploring body collage in the water with found materials, thinking about patriarchal ideas historically associated with female monsters and victims in cinema.

  • Amy Frampton

    London-based Video Artist Amy Frampton specialises in Contemporary Art and time-Based Media, having produced numerous self-lead and commission projects. Since her graduation in 2010 with a BA First Class Honours degree in Fine Art, Amy has developed her creative practice and technical skills specialising in editing, green screen and special effects. Working with software programmes such as Adobe After Effects, and Premiere Pro. In 2018 Amy embarked on her Masters's Degree at The Royal College of Art, where she built upon her professional and technical skills in moving images. Amy has now turned her attention to creative education, to share her gained skills and experience to inspire others. Specializing in behavioural management and special educational needs.

    Bianca Blair’s work is heavily influenced by black British identity; showcasing women within the Caribbean diaspora who have grown up in the UK, but have roots and beliefs that are tied to their ancestral home. These themes are conveyed through the mediums of oil and acrylic paint on canvas.

    Making use of the environment to transform found materials into illustrative inks. The Southend studio functions as a self-contained micro-inkworks: encompassing a laboratory, processing, and manufacturing plant; developing formulas designed to encapsulate the topography of Essex in a bottle.

    Sylak is a sculptor and installation artist who creates fluid matrices and uses pattern dynamics to respond to the everchanging landscape.

    Connor builds interactive experiences, creates worlds to be explored and designed mechanical contraptions. Combining photographic methodology with various mediums; mixed reality, paper engineering, electronics and projection mapping.

    They collaborate with other artists and organisations to help embed technology into their projects and University art students to bring their tech ideas to life.

    Edi is based in Essex and, from time-to-time, East London. Due to chronic illness, most of the time they're based in bed.

    They are an interdisciplinary artist dedicated to a socially-engaged practice that explores, reflects on and documents experiences of time, digital culture, power, identity, and belonging - with a particular focus on disability, place, gender and queerness. After originally developing their craft as a photographer, they now work with a slower, more accessible practice - with mediums including photography, moving image, sound, print and workshops.

    Liam is an Interdisciplinary Artist currently living and working in Southed on Sea, UK. Cosford previously studied Fine art at Goldsmiths, University of London (2015-2018) His practice centres around interdependence, the relationship between personal and collective narrative and impermanence. Creating portals into how an ‘individual’s’ narrative and the ‘objective’ experience culminate into the collective consciousness that is shared and accessed knowingly or unknowingly by everyone.
